Watch out for emails claiming to be from the DVLA asking you to verify your driving licence details via an online link – it's a scam. You just have to accept that there are people out there with absolutely no scruples and their one mission in life is to part you from your money.
Some are damned clever. I wrote a piece a while back which I won't bother to copy, but together with the obvious ones with awful spelling there are some very clever ones.
I had a very crude one when I sold a car recently. I contacted the police to see if they were interested and they told me they get thousands of them, so ignore it, which I was going to do anyway.
