I've just spent a couple of days cleaning my system of a very nasty Trojan infection called Generic 28. It's a killer - a keylogger, an installer, every bloody thing. It breeds extremely quickly, taking over more and more of your programs and functions; and it mutates very quickly too - AVG, ZoneAlarm, and quite a few other virus suites can't deal with it (one of the first things it does is take them over.
If you catch it (and it's spreading throughout the world like a plague, apparently, already asffecting 2% of all systems) the first thing you'll probably notice is a drastic slow-down. Then it takes over your ports - your internet connection gets locked, your mouse stops responding.
Do not try to google an answer - it redirects you to google pages of its own making, full of sites of its own making, faking you into downloading yet more infections.
If you get it, or any of its versions ("29" came out recently) PM me and I'll explain how to kill it. It's a long process, and you won't get everything back, I'm afraid.
