Absence of "climate scientists".

Does anyone have any reliable data or information relating to the effect of a sustained bombing of Syria or other countries with regards climate warming.
It beggars belief that climate scientists climb over one another to grab a headline wan a polar bear can't catch a decent meal but when a real catastrophe is about to be unleashed they seem to crawl back under there rocks.
I wonder why!

Easy: Polar bears are cuddly (unless you happen to be really near one). Syrians are yucky (unless you happen to know one). Ignorance is bliss (if you are a climate "scientist").

Spot on Alan, They are very selective depending on the funding they receive.It's not real science is it ?
They are more akin to political scientists or spin doctors.
