Hi Mr.P. I think I can give you a rough and ready answer. I would guess, without looking at the source, that the dimensions refer to a mathematical device called phase space. Broadly, you can invent any criterion you want and treat it as a coordinate extension, a "dimension", in this "space" - basically, a Cartesian grid, enabling you to locate any particular datum point in this multi-dimensional array. You could locate a person of such and such height, weight, with size eleven feet, bouffant hair, white skin colour, a beer belly of such extension, personality characteristics of such and such, earnings of such and such, etc etc at one particular point in this space - a point specifying Piers Morgan, say; and all the points around it would be of similar sorts, so that Paul Daniels say would be nearer than Diane Abbott.
In this case I'd guess that it refers to attempts to transmit certain properties from one entangled particle to its partner. I'd guess the particles are of considerable complexity - I know a team have been working on rubidium atoms, for instance. In such a case every electron, proton etc is usually given its own spatial dimensions in order to be treated quantum mechanically - four dimensions for that electron, four for that one, and so on. What's being "transmitted" or rather determined are physical properties like spin - a change in one of the particles' spin, that is, that then manifests in its partner.
