A more balanced approach will be seen here... "THE SECRET BILDERBERG GROUP MEETING: Why no coverage by mainstream media?" June 12, 2011 www.skyvalleychronicle.com/BREAKING-NEWS/THE-SECRET-BILDERBERG-GROUP-MEETING-BR-Why-no-coverage-by-mainstream-media-686675 it contains two videos that are well worth watching. The odd thing about 'The History Channel' video is that if a search is made at their site www.history.com/search?search-field=bilderberg&asset-type=Topicsthen all that appears is a bland bit on 'David Rockefeller' and it would be expected to have more information considering we just watched their video. That brings me to the next point the secrecy, there is little or nothing in the mainstream media. All very well, but it does invite unnecessary attention from 'conspiracy' theorists. An interesting senario would be if it was to be held in this country, it couldn't be held in London [too open] but there are places 'in the country' where they could be held, assuming that the details didn't leak out. The armed guards etc. would be a no-no for most. Here's an article from the DT dated last year, www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/7804197/The-Bilderberg-Group-fact-and-fantasy.html Conclusion: It appears to be a networking group/think tank [before those terms were invented] apart from the occasional visits from notables on a once only basis, it is a venue for those who like the intrigue and furtiveness of a secret society. The invitation of various news reporters is interesting especially when it is considered that very little reporting takes place. Could we be watching a long standing 'super-injunction' in action, or is that a conspiracy too far?

I watched all 5, yes, it's an eye-opener, though the later parts as to what to replace it with seem a bit fancifull. I'm struck by the 'it'll never happen' syndrome. Here's one cure by King Henry in 1125 as He dealt with the 'Mint-men' making gold coin from base metal... Henry 1. "A.D. 1125. In this year sent the King Henry, before Christmas, from Normandy to England, and bade that all the mint-men that were in England should be mutilated in their limbs; that was, that they should lose each of them the right hand, and their testicles beneath. This was because the man that had a pound could not lay out a penny at a market. And the Bishop Roger of Salisbury sent over all England, and bade them all that they should come to Winchester at Christmas. When they came thither, then were they taken one by one, and deprived each of the right hand and the testicles beneath. All this was done within the twelfth-night. And that was all in perfect justice, because that they had undone all the land with the great quantity of base coin that they all bought." www.oocities.org/sigbert_a/chronicle.htmlI don't know whether the politicians have got the balls to do it nowadays! At the risk of appearing to be a conspiracy theorist, this article at least has it's points referenced... "The ‘Foundations’ of the Bilderberg Group" www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=25302It appears to be a very exclusive 'masonic' type of organisation. Incidentally, How is Your Granny?

Interesting link Stu, but have you heard that the UK government has revived an old design for eco-pensioners who no longer have local buses? This video is its first outing. I'll be buying shares as soon as the company is privatised! www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1fCs2-zQjk&feature=relatedP
