"It's not yet available on Kindle but hopefully will be soon." Shouldn't that read: It's not yet available for/to Kindle but hopefully will be soon. ps. Have You finished fly-posting yet? StuartG

"It's not yet available on Kindle but hopefully will be soon." Shouldn't that read: It's not yet available for/to Kindle but hopefully will be soon. Quite possibly - grammar is not my strong point although I think my meaning was clear which I believe is what matters.

Your meaning was clear, mine wasn't, here's what I meant kin·dle 1 (kndl) v. kin·dled, kin·dling, kin·dles v.tr. 1. a. To build or fuel (a fire). b. To set fire to; ignite. 2. To cause to glow; light up: The sunset kindled the skies. 3. To arouse (an emotion, for example): "No spark had yet kindled in him an intellectual passion" (George Eliot). v.intr. 1. To catch fire; burst into flame. 2. To become bright; glow. 3. To become inflamed. 4. To be stirred up; rise. [Middle English kindelen (influenced by kindelen, to give birth to, cause), probably from Old Norse kynda. Cheers, StuartG

Book buring has, in the past, been associated with "efforts to suppress dissenting or heretical views that are perceived as posing a threat to the prevailing order" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Book_burning

Yep, and note my posts on 'mutilation' elsewhere on these boards. I should have called my post there 'Just William'.

Pal-review by the "consensus" and tendentious obstacles to publication in journals have much the same effect.
