A bit of guidance from the wise if you can.
I recently updated my camera and now have a Canon EOS550D. I love it and am getting some fantastic results. One of the features is that it takes full HD video and I fitted a 16GB fast card so that I had plenty or room for videos.
I took a video of my two year old granddaughter opening her birthday presents. However when I play it back it stops and freezes, then plays a bit more although the timer still ticks away the seconds.
One of the guys in the office has said it is probably the memory card on my laptop and if I burn the video to a CD it should work OK on my DVD player. That I will try, but has anyone got any other suggestions? Also, if I tried to play that same DVD on the laptop would I still get the same problem?

HD uses a lot of RAM. See if you can replay at low resolution, or buy more RAM. However RAM uses a lot of power so you may have more success playing it on a desktop which may have more or faster RAM. Your DVD player may well be able to cope.
