Given the damp-squib that is the Mueller "investigation", Trump's evident independence - he is not like Obama, a placeman, playing a part - I am genuinely fearful for his prospects of surviving for much longer now, beyond shall we say about six months. I think perhaps the stock bubble has so far held their hand - then, as was seen in Paris (he was clearly warned), there's his own sense of self-preservation. I can't imagine what the backlash might be. Can they get to Pence? He's no LBJ, that's for sureL but he's also no Trump. It's all looking fairly gruesome.

Looks interesting, but I can't work out, from syntax/punctuation, who's at risk of non-survival.

Stop being such a useless troll, Aqua. I thought you'd signalled your determination to turn over a new leaf?

Not really.
I guess you mean Trump, but you also mentioned Mueller and Obama and Pence in the same breath.
Readability is usually a good guide for writers.

But readability is for readers to judge. That's why writers like to meet them. Not all, of course.
(I'm sorry, I missed 'LBJ' first time round.)
The objection, you ask?
Well, I did say 'readability'.
If you have to read a transactional - rather than literary - passage twice or more, it doesn't qualify.

But readability is for readers to judge. You're not readers, you're just you, with an agenda. I judge readability on whether a text is readable. And it is. Unless I hear reasons otherwise? I think you're drunk. Nothing wrong with that. Just take a deep breath and read whatever it is again.

Same to you. What a slog it is. If you want me to point out to you every time how your posts fail on the readability/syntax/punctuation/spelling level, then I'll do so. Not the same at all, then, is it, really?

It's quite likely that Pence will follow Trumpf quickly into oblivion, if only to avoid public humiliation or worse on account of his supporting the incompetent loser. That will, constitutionally, put Nancy Pelosi in the chair. Nothing wrong with having an intelligent and experienced politician as president for a change.

It's quite likely that Pence will follow Trumpf quickly into oblivion If Trump gets bumped off, he'll be President for at least a year. Whether he'd win an election is another question - as I said, he's no Trump, who looks almost certain to get re-elected, provided he can avoid assassination, and provided he can get through Mueller's nosying about in his taxes (even if he can't, I think he'll still win another term.) Because he's been so surprisingly competent. Huh? You mean if Pence gets shot too? Shooting one is a near impossible task, these days - getting both is simply not feasible. Pelosi??! Jeezus. Not a chance in hell she could ever win a presidential election - whoever ran against her would be a shoe-in. Sanders, on the other hand, would be a real threat - but to which side?
