That reminded me of Goering's Nuremberg defence that he was the victim of racial stereotyping.

So even he agrees that he's cherry-picked the data. Good to see that we are all in agreement!

So you've posted this to tell us that there was a rapid rise in temperature (at least in Europe) after the little ice age? Yet another statement of the bleeding obvious.
We've been over this sort of thing so many times before. We know that climate has changed in the past. We also know that it wasn't due to humans. Now we know it almost certainly is.

You may "know" the current slight warming is due to human's burning fossil fuel, nickrr, and I feel that you will probably go to your death "knowing" this.
I, however, will continue to keep reading and learning and keeping an open mind about the intricate intellectual knot which takes such a devil of a lot of unravelling and that we call "climate".

By the way, nickrr how do explain the preference of the Met Office for the cropped (cherry-picked) anomaly graph with its extraordinary baseline chopping it in two rather than the full series of ACTUAL temperatures which does not look in the least scary? Here are the two graphs again just so the lurkers can examine in detail the tricks that have been played with the data and with their perceptions. Both the Mediaeval Warm Period and the Little Ice Age are known to have been periods of climate change that affected the whole world. Here's the interactive map showing the MWP and LIA round the world www.co2science.org/data/timemap/mwpmap.html (be patient when waiting for the page to download) You seem to think you know everything there is to know about today's climate, nickrr. I think you are just ignorant.
