Does anyone else think that photo looks like Sergei from the compare the market adverts? You wash mouth out with soap. I am handsome debonair clever cove good with computermabob and great linguist. Guy in photo is clearly crazed green loon. No comparison. Simples! May 21, 2012 at 12:55 AM | Sergei Thanks to Bishop Hill! For those not in the loop, Peter Gleick, is a self proclaimed "climate ethicist", who recently impersonated (via email) a Heartland Institute insider in order to scam internal documents out of the Free Enterprise Think Tank. Warmists hate the HI because of its effective information propagation concerning climate research amongst other things. The documents obtained were innocuous and exposed none of the skullduggery expected by Gleick though they exposed many personal details about Heartland staff. But Gleick also FORGED a document designed to put Heartland's activities in an unfavourable light and then spread the "cache" of both real and forged documents around the sympathetic alarmist media who lapped it up. Some ethics! You couldn't make it up! Gleick was immediately fingered as the author of the forged Heartland document by sharp-eyed Stephen Mosher because of its clear similarities with Gleick's written style, his personal preoccupations and the vocabulary used. Lesson? Trying to imitate someone you hate can reveal MUCH more about you than about them. By placing his own particular preoccupations in a purported Heartland document Gleick revealed himself as a needy, obsessive prat.
