Yesterday's Telegraph carried a report of the death of a dwarf parachutist in Sept It said that she lost control after attempting a barrel-roll and that the subsequent G-Forces acting upon her were consequently greater than that experienced by a jet fighter pilot so that she could not reach to open her parachute Now this is odd
Surely she would experience no forces at all as she was in free fall?
Comments?

Comments? Air resistance? That's why she was a dwarf in the first place, after all. Stop trying to resist reality, I say to these people, the lefties and the people who object to Christmas and the Welsh. Grow up, dwarfie. Speak English. The people who really get my goat are those lesbians from Liverpool who insist you get multicultural foreign sounding words right.

It's like when you're walking along in Africa, enjoying the breeze and the views and the quaintly foreign miulieu. Mieliue. Me whatever. And you get get you a little tickle in your foot. Oooh, that's nice, you think, a definite improvement in my sensory landscape. Then weeks or months later you find you're being eaten alive by some sort of crawling gnawling ineradicable grumpchy worm. The grumpchy worm never gives up. You can't stop it, you can't kill t, not with these weapons, it simply won't stop. Short arms.

Rolling and spinning produce centrifugal g-forces whether you are in free fall or not. Unless you are very strong, it's quite difficult to move your arms at 2g, and if you are unlucky, it's quite easy to exceed 5g in a spin. At one revolution per second the acceleration of your outstretched hand will be around 10g.

I knew Alan would come up with the definitive answer.
