Nope. I assume, on good grounds, that people's memory works in roughly the same way. I've had my own share of traumas - going back to the 60s, in fact. Huh? You think a trauma has to be unique, or what? And this occurred when? And where? Who were the people present? Did you report the incident to the police, as you are legally obliged to do? Why not? Did you make a note in your diary of this assault? Any note at all? Why not? You admit yourself that this was the leading student in the leading law college in the country and he could very well end up on the Supreme Court - and you you yourself were a leading law student, so you knew how important this crime was, and how you were absolutely legally obligated to report it. A drug-dealing gang-rapist on the Supreme Court. And you said nothing, until now.

To call them 'leading law students' when they were 15 and 17 is ridiculous.
Did you or your girl, at that age, ever report to the police a situation when you were both together alone in a bedroom?
You're being an idiot, as usual.

Sexist bastard, mrsonde, as usual.
Why couldn't she have been destined to end up on the Supreme Court?

To call them 'leading law students' when they were 15 and 17 is ridiculous. They weren't, and it isn't. Gen up before you mouth off. If I raped her with a bunch of mates she would have done. She's now on on the Queen's Bench. How so? You won;t answer this, as usual, because it's you who's being the idiot, as usual. And so it goes.

Der, you said he was a leading law student who she would know might end up on the Supreme Court, and she - what, wouldn't?

You keep implying she said he raped her with a bunch of mates. Obviously, I may've missed something, but I don't think that's true. Transcript?

She accused him of attempted rape, and mentioned another person in the room.
If you think I'm wrong, just spell it out.

Alan and Aqua should watch Sen Susan's Collins excellent summary of the issues. They clearly have not but are just parroting and exaggerating hearsay which is itself the WHOLE basis of the partisan furore. Get a grip. No matter how much you dislike Trump or disdain Kavanaugh's so-called "performance" at the confirmation hearing this is no reason to dump the presumption of innocence. Or do you think "believing the victim" and all the "me too" claptrap trumps the presumption of innocence? Just remember these hearings do not constitute a criminal trial just an opportunity to grandstand for Trump's political foes. Please exercise a little normal scepticism of this emotionally charged circus and the difficulty of proving a negative. Just because Clinton lied about having "sexual relations with that woman" is no reason to tar every public figure with the same brush! And Kavanaugh is not proposing to "criminalise abortion". That would entail overthrowing precedent of which he is a strong upholder. Watch the Collins' speech! www.youtube.com/watch?v=SVuzOXBzgO0
