.. if you have any sense you can alter your non-poem to something less insulting to someone who doesn't understand metaphor. "Derided" would do, and it was certainly true often enough, if that's a point you really want to make about her.
Surely you're asking me to censor my verses, which I thought had gone out of fashion a while ago ... no?
Look, Nay started his verse with:
I feel so sorry
Not that I particularly liked Jean
and commented strangely at odds
I picked up/reflected these sentiments in my verse, and heavily qualified hated in the next few lines.
If Nay is distraught about this, which I'd wager he's not, I'll apologise to him (not anyone else) here or in a PM.
Let's get this clear: your and Nay's personae were arch-enemies of jean's. I felt only friendship and solidarity, but that's just me being sloppy-bollocks.
Neither I nor my persona - whatever you imagine that is (I assure you there's no discernible difference) - were an enemy of Jean's, arch or not. I almost certainly shared more pms and at far greater length with her in less than a week than your total exchanges with her over ten years. Your emotional immaturity is remarkable: I do not believe for a minute that Jean shared it, and repeat: do you have any reason to assert your childish vindictiveness to Jean? I don't think so. She was hyper-competitive, very intellectually insecure, over-reactive to any man who disagreed with her, sweetly indulgent to weak men willing to flatter her, and too quick to insult when she couldn't rationally argue - but I never witnessed anything remotely akin to hate in her, however "heavily qualified".
But if you're happy ascribing such a nasty characteristic to her, leave it be - it's no skin off mine, nor should I think Nay's. I don't like you badmouthing her, so inaccurately at any rate, but I accept it's merely you being foolish and linguistically incompetent again, rather than from any deliberate ill-will. You probably don;t even realise you insulted her.
