Not sure which aspect I found more weird: travelling to Jamaica to "celebrate" the birthday of someone who died 4 years ago, or the godmother's arranging for a secret cake and balloons to surprise the grieving/celebrating parents. The effigy does at least have some traditional roots in the Caribbean. How sad that the 5-star family pissup was spoiled by a reminder of why they were there.
Looks like a pilot for the League of Gentlemen, rescripted for Windies Television.
