As high priest of the Dandelion Movement, I'm sorry to say Nay, you're a few days late. According to my Google weather page my equinox was last Wednesday. So as usual, there I was in the garden in my favourite wellies paying homage to the first Dandelion in my lawn as the sun rose from the east. A truly moving and life changing experience. Peace be with you, my brother. P

Happy Spring Equinox!
Yes, indeed, principled. Thank you.
It really feels if the world has turned this morning and we are heading back to summer (which every sane persons KNOWS should be the normal state of our hemisphere).
Hooray!

Hooray indeed! 10C in sunny Orkney! Might hazard a go at five layers of clothing rather than the usual seven.

63 degreesF in Leeds today according to the BBC local weather report. Heavenly spring day - sleeveless folk lying on rugs in the park! The fat robin following me in the garden.

18.3C = 65F in sun-baked Liverpool today, and only 7mm of rain this month, with little expected in the next two weeks. First butterfly of the year in the garden (a Peacock). (Australians might be offended by the title of the thread though) flourish.org/upsidedownmap/mcarthur-large.jpg

We returned, two days ago from our annual migration to the Philippines. Our very French taxi driver replied to my request that he collect us at the airport with, " You return like the swallows in spring". Having spent a night recovering from 'Beaver syndrome, we awoke to clear blue skies. Vive la France en printemps
