I am glad to see that this rebellious teenager has now be seduced into conformity. It has alwats amazed me that a potential leader of this Christian country is an aetheist living in sin who cannot be bothered to register his child in his name
I suppose the next step will be legitimisation of his child And hurrah for that!
Why do I feel that this is a political move though?
My contempt for this fratricidal person grows and grows and Nulab deserve him
How traditional Labour people must despise him

A marriage is probably deemed to have some rub-off, feelgood effect on the Leader. The NuLab spin doctors will be pleased.
Well done, young Milliband. He's done the right thing. Amazing the difference in perspective from the Opposition benches, isn't it?.

What do you mean, he has done the right thing?
Are you suggesting that the only leaders of political parties should be heterosexual Church going married and monogamous?
That will rule out some pretty talented people.

This may seem a little shallow, but whilst watching a video clip of Milliband walking with his wife today I couldn't help thinking that he looked a great deal like Mr Bean.
Not sure he has the charisma of a leader in waiting, to be honest! P

I shall have to stop agreeing with you Principled as it will get both of us a bad name. I think he looks like a twerp, and acts like one as well. Surely someone should have suggested that to address the TUC rally might just possibly be a rather large shot in the foot.

Did he meet his wife to be at Greenham Common? She could have had a bath for the publicity shots.....she's marrying an arsehole for them after all.

"What do you mean, he has done the right thing?"
He has sealed the contract with his wife and offspring in the conventional, time-honoured way, is what I mean, jonjel! What else could I have meant?
Time was when men who didn't were frowned upon. Then it became the fashion not to! Now everyone wants to get spliced in some form another!
My reference to the vagaries of perspective from the government and opposition benches is another angle which could have something to do with this case. It may crate a little feel-good effect for the new, rather colourless NuLab leader in the context of another high profile marriage in the offing, too. Sadly for the Miliband spin doctor I don't think any of the glitz of the Royal wedding will rub off on him.
But........ you can't take away from the young fella - he has set a good example and he has done the right thing! - Miliband, I mean!
Funny, we never see anything of brother David these days. Whatever happened to him? In a sulk?
