The Employers' group says it needs better warning about climate risks and all listed firms should detail their "climate exposure " in corporate reports This is the warning contained in a major new report released by the business lobby group. "The report recommends that the existing UK Climate Projections should be repackaged so that they can be easily understood by non-climate specialists and that the government's upcoming Climate Change Risk Assessment should feature specific recommendations on how regulated sectors need to adapt to climate change. It also notes that businesses need to take action to improve their climate resilience and understand their climate risks." "The report is the latest in a series of moves from the employers' group calling on the government to strengthen its climate change policy." www.guardian.co.uk/environment/2010/sep/13/cbi-business-warning-climate-risksBut isn't this just the CBI expecting to have the information from the IPCC that the government uses to be repackaged?
