You're cherry-picking again, marchesarosa.

And how much has the massive hike in energy prices, to pay for the co2 fetish, contributed to these deaths?

You seem to think use of the words "cherry-picking" is some sort of killer rebuttal, abacus.
Instead, why not answer the question - why do warmists propagandists always ignore the surplus deaths due to cold?

I know that warmists belabour deaths due to heatwaves induced by purported anthropogenic global warming (as in the 2003 French/European "heatwave" and the latest Russian heatwave) whilst ignoring the perennial Northern hemispheric surplus winter death rate. Too obvious to comment upon, CLIMATICALLY, I suppose.
How do I know this? Because I take notice of the evolution of the "climate" debate, of course.

Yep, last winter it was 23,000 dead due to increased energy prices in the UK alone. (Age Concern) The vast majority of this increase is attributable to the co2 fetish.

Too obvious to comment upon, CLIMATICALLY, I suppose. Yes, because the level of deaths resulting from such heat waves are very exceptional and would seem to support the idea of the heating up of the global climate. Freezing winters that are the cause of significant fatalities are hardly unknown, by contrast, so I do think you are attempting to draw a false comparison.
