I saw with some glee that a pub landlady is almost certainly going to be able to continue to show live sport in her pub for £800 a year as opposed to the £8000 a year demanded by Sky.
Good.
Poor old Murdoch will be consulting his lawyers no doubt, or buying the brewery tomorrow. What must it be like to be down to your last few hundred billion and see your plans for world domination start to look a bit iffy.

What with the phonehack victims queuing up to sue, and now this threat; Rupe's NewsCorp may not be long for this world.
But could anybody say how this could affect the BBC? I'm thinking of loopholes such as e.g. offshore satellite relays via broadband, which lmight be exploited, too.
Go Landladies!
