How did living matter originate out of nonliving matter? Scientists have not achieved this feat, yet we are always told that life 'evolved' out of inorganic matter but this idea still remains a theory and has yet to be proven. Could there still be room for a Creator?

It is even difficult to define what 'life' is isn't it? Personally I think that there is loads of room fro a creator. The big quetsion of how matter was created is unaswerable, even if life did develop from 'lifeless' matter.
Some say that matter was created from a quantum fluctuation. OK, very speculative - but what made the quantum fluctuation?
Perhaps life can be constructed from chemicals, but we are nowhere near that currently.
