How is Bernoulli's Principle used in everyday applications?

I think we've already had the discussion about the relative part that Bernoulli plays in plane lift. A couple of other that spring to mind are: When SI engines had carburettors they used the Bernoulli effect in the carburettor's venturi to produce a low pressure zone so that ats. pressure would push fuel from the float chamber to mix with the air and of course race cars use Bernoulli to produce down force on the drive wheels...but not sure if they are everyday uses in your opinion.
