single decker - over the rear wheel arch there is less centripetal acceleration when the driver "suddenly" turns the wheel. But the vertical motion is solely from the rear wheels. Should I sit halfway down the bus and get half the bumps but twice as many? Double-deckers I try to sit at the front upstairs because I can see the horizon, and more of it - to avoid any travel sickness. And see more of the countryside from up there too. Moreso than when driving for sure. I never use the rear facing seats even if they are safer in an accident (unless the facing passengers launch and crush you). I can't read on a bus. So where should I sit for the most comfortable ride?

where should you sit? Anywhere NOT next to the nutter, except experience shows that thay can be almost impossible to locate!
