Thread title obviously composed while inebriated. No - typed in haste as the battery on my laptop was running flat (now corrected here). I don't drink sufficient to become inebriated and certainly not before noon on Easter Sunday. Why do you feel the need to make these personal snide attacks on me? I have never done so to you so you cannot say that you are responding to my tone. I think it detracts from the points you are trying to make. You may be taken more seriously if it wasn't so obvious that your position is fuelled more by hatred than by science.

Have you caught Helen's pancreawhatsit?
One of its symptoms seems to be to accuse others of "hatred" and to threat them with "curses on their graves" by someone's grandchildren.
It's all beyond me, 'fraid! But par for the course on AGW blogs, apparently. Please don't bring this nonsense here, Louise, or you could get permanently banned.
Helen has produced a sicknote for her posting absurdities so the admin may excuse HER ramblings. You haven't, so watch out!
P.S. Listener, haven't you twigged that the BBC Science Board strategy doesn't work here?

I am trying to persuade you that making personal attacks on me are not necessary and may be counter productive to your arguments. I really don't see why you do it. I am also trying to post information that some people might find interesting and to give a different perspective on some other issues. Your last point seems to be a threat and I'm not sure why I deserve to be threatened (or what I am threatened with).

Listener, haven't you twigged that the BBC Science Board strategy doesn't work here? I am not 'Listener' (nor am I Helen, Lazarus, Kiteman or any other personality you equate me with). I know nothing about a 'BBC Science Board strategy' other than I frequently lurked there and used it to find other web sites that are informative (e.g. WUWT which led me to Climate Etc). The 'strategy' I am using here is the one that I would use anywhere - present the information and let others interpret it for themselves. Most are bright enough to do so and my interpreting it for them could lead to confusion. A strategy that I do NOT adopt is one of personal attacks against those with opposing views as I think it is counter productive.

"A strategy that I do NOT adopt is one of personal attacks against those with opposing views as I think it is counter productive."
Why not whisper this advice in Helen's ear, LoouiseorisitListener?

"A strategy that I do NOT adopt is one of personal attacks against those with opposing views as I think it is counter productive." Why not whisper this advice in Helen's ear, LoouiseorisitListener? I assume the mis-spelling of my name is supposed to be funny/annoying/some other reason? Once again, I'm just bewildered as to why you do this. As to giving advice to other posters - I certainly would advocate avoiding anything that could be construed as a personal attack as I don't think it serves any purpose (similarly mis-spelling names or distorting them - we are all adults here I assume?).

I'm sorry to say this Marciesarosa, but fuck you, you are rude, unscientific and intemperate. I've been seriously ill and you haven't a care. I have to go back to hospital again this evening. I don't care whether you care or not just to point out I'm not louise or listener or anyone else but helen and you really should learn some science before coming here with politics at the fore.

You are NOT "sorry to say this", Helen. You have been getting off on repeating the same stuff for a long time. Have you forgotten? Is memory loss (i.e blackouts) one of your "symptoms".
The fact that you now reveal you are "sick" is hardly news to me.
Buzz off to another board. I think you are mistaking this one for one that gives a damn about your opinions on climate, your opinions about me, (which amount to the same thing) or your mental health.
Give up the vino and you'll feel better INSTANTLY.

Helen explained her medical problem elsewhere and for you to state that her problem is alcohol and is related to her mental health is cruel. Hi John and Alan and everybody here, sorry about my last few posts if they seem a little odd. I've a problem with my pancreas and the medicine makes makes me a bit loopy. The Beautiful One (my daughter) is up here with me so all's well. Prepare for the occasional odd post. Helen xx

Oh I've just spotted that clever thing you've done to the thread title. I admitted that there were a couple (two) spelling mistakes (scienec instead of science and fo instead of of) and corrected them.
You've now created a whole load of false spelling mistakes and added a hic to emphasise your view that I was drunk at 11.30 on Easter Sunday morning (I rarely drink and then only in moderation and not today).
I'm trying to raise the level of discussion to that of adults yet you seem determined to keep it at playground level with name calling, petty plays on words and quite hurtful comments to another poster who is unwell. Surely you're better than that?

My pancreatic problem is not related to alcohol. Thanks Louise for your support. Mary? You advertise yourself well.
