Since we have a solid, verifiable example of warmist porkies on this board (A Good Example of Corrupted Science) could we have peoples views on the motivations and aims of the warmist pseudo-science?
Global Low Carbon Society - or just plain communism anyone?

I think it's a combination of intellectual arrogance with the usual - "a little learning is a dangerous thing". Why is it necessary for the great scientific unwashed, like us, to have to tell them they "know" sod all?

There is definately a worldwide co-ordinated effort tp push AGW alarmism. At the top of the tree is the UN. Are the Universities simply rolling over to get their tummy's tickled with funding or is there an ideological "penetration" of academia? Is this the result of green pressure on the UN? Are they that weak?
I don't like the green movement. Too many lies, distortions and propaganda. And too much power.

Can anyone think of an AGW scare story that has proven to be true? It's my impression that whenever the alarmists come up with a story that's checkable by laymen, it's soon found to be false.
